Recent Reviews Secluded Cabin Rental near Mount Rainier National Park in Washington
- Lorena (2 months ago):
A cozy, quiet cabin with a nice sized kitchen set in a lovely garden. The location is just close enough to The national park that it’s easy to get there before the crowds, but far enough that the traffic to MRNP isn’t a problem. I really enjoyed listening to the frogs at night. Hosts were quiet and easy to contact if needed. I would stay here again. The inside of the cabin was very clean except where a spider had claimed the shower. Since I was there in spring, the spiders outside had made quite a few webs by the doors and outside chairs.

The experience was pleasant ultimately. However, a couple things perturbed us. The price was shot up by the owners after I already booked it on the site as a lower price which was listed, reason expressed was that it was Christmas. I did accept the new price so that’s on me, but I didn’t appreciate the gouging. Normally would’ve not bothered to review, but the cabin is directly next to the owners home, no feeling of privacy at all which kind of spoils the idea of a secluded cabin. Everyone even shared the parking space… It’s quite a basic cabin, the full kitchen is great though! Loved the gas fireplace to stay warm. The owners seemed nice, but this is just my honest review.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We wanted to be out in nature and that’s exactly what we got. The cabin is nicely situated at the forest edge. We really enjoyed the fire pit. They had plenty of nice firewood. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice. It was easy to find. Beth was a great host.

We loved our stay at the cabin while exploring Rainier NP. It was cozy, clean & had everything we needed. Hanging outside by the fire pit was the perfect way to end our days. Beth was quick to respond to any questions we had. I would like to suggest including the additional info & rules included on the intake form, in the original post for clarity, as there were some details we missed. All in all, a good experience.

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway and this was a great little cabin! Despite the fact that it's guesthouse style with the host nearby, there was no sense of intrusion. The creek runs just beyond the tree line and the scenery was beautiful. Lots of stars to be seen at night! The fire pit was our favorite part of the trip - plenty of wood available, water jugs and outdoor seating provided.

This was the perfect getaway for my wife and my 16th anniversary, and a starting place for Mt. Rainier park. The surroundings were popping with fall colors creating a relaxing atmosphere and the weather was just about perfect. We will recommend this cabin to friends.

This was a fantastic little cabin! Beth (the hostess) was prompt with her responses, organized and very sweet when we arrived. Giving us a tour of the cabin and property. Very close to Mount Rainier NP, a few tasty restaurants (Copper Creek for breakfast) and a general store. The cabin was spit spit clean- cleaner than most hotels I've stayed in. The bed was comfortable, blankets were substantial. It was warm but after we opened the windows and ran the provided fan it was very comfortable sleeping. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and pans and plates and glasses etc and the bathroom was immaculate. I felt very safe with my 3 kids and was pleased that it worked out so well as last minute as my booking was. Definitely, recommend this to anyone wanting to explore the NP. My kids loved to sit out at the picnic table, swing in the hammock in the woods and explore the creek where they found tadpoles, frogs, a snake and some fish. Thank you for your hospitality- we'll definitely stay here again on a return visit!

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very clean, cozy and had a well appointed kitchen. Everything you need to make a meal. The firepit has firewood, a picnic table and chairs. If you want to be close to the park, this is the place.
